The Peacock Inn Chinese Restaurant - Broadbeach

Charles Chang has been in business for 15 years at the same location so he must be doing something right. With the help of Henry Cheung in the kitchen he turns out first rate Chinese dishes for which freshness is the key.

This is a little corner of
Hong Kong in
Broadbeach where you can find delicious Cantonese as well as   Szechuan dishes.

As a starter the salt and pepper quail is crispy and cooked to perfection, although small the birds provide an excellent lead in to the mains.

From the Chef’s suggestions the Szechuan chicken is spicy, tender and delicious.

Another interesting and different dish is deep fried flounder in salt and pepper also a Chef’s special.

King prawns with cashew nuts
come laden with vegetables and cashews while the prawns are sweet and succulent.

For those who love it Charles also offers a
two -course Peking Duck _ pancake and sang choy bow.

Fried rice with salty fish and chicken
is among the many rice options, the salty fish quite unusual.

“Service is friendly and helpful”

The Peacock Inn is an extremely popular local dining spot – and for GOOD reason.
