Ultra modern, edgy with an interactive kitchen, a friendly bar and a great buzz – that’s SOCIAL

Matt and Amy Jefferson’s latest venture, an addition to their highly regarded ROCK SALT, adds another excellent dimension to the Broadbeach dining scene.


AN INDOOR OUTDOOR BAR + TAPAS restaurant and  it garnered instant popularity for its service, its chefs’ theatre and its innovative tapas.


The tapas menu is divided into;
  • Snacks
  • Oysters
  • Things on toast
  • Small plates
  • Large plates
  • Salads
  • Sides
  • Gourmet selections from the charcuterie

The house charcuterie plate served with sliced soft baguette is a chance to try several things and includes the wonderful Jamon Iberico de Cebo from Spain

The toast offerings are crisp fingers of baked dark rye bread with delicious toppings such as rare beef, truffled Manchego custard and red onion jam or the unbelievable hot smoked trout mousse, fennel, pickled onion and Yarra Valley salmon pearls.

Fresh sardines, smoked tomato, roast garlic, aioli and herbs offer a tasty sharp contrast


From the SMALL PLATES menu ‘Egg in a Jar’ is a treat consisting of a crumbed hen’s egg, confit duck leg, pommes puree and truffle mushroom ragout.

The 1kg salt bush lamb shoulder slow roasted in sheep’s milk yogurt from the large plate menu and the deconstructed lemon meringue pie with coconut ice cream and brown butter crumbs have to wait for a return visit.




Teamed with a fine selection of drinks including cocktails, beers and wines the menu offers a delicious range of well presented tapas dishes in a stunning and vibrant venue.
