Pigs & Pints

A warm and friendly bar Pigs & Pints offers tempting delicious little sliders to complement its craft beers and excellent wines and cocktails.

Established by James Brady the casual bar – restaurant is an ideal spot in which to relax and enjoy a drink and something different to eat.

Gourmet sliders on freshly baked miniature buns run the filling gamut from pork belly BLT to ham hock with celeriac and apple while the crispy beef with red pepper is superb. For the fish lovers there is a tasty Thai salmon.

In the evening from 6pm-9pm there are more substantial meals on offer – grazing plates of beef short ribs, ham hock, chicken or fish.

The short ribs are well worth trying, slow cooked for 17 hours, served on a wooden platter accompanied by bowls of Greek salad, spicy red cabbage, horseradish cream, a rich jus and specially made sliced bread, the beef simply melts in the mouth.

While sliders are presented in a wooden box and the grazing plates are large wooden platters – the dinner plates are flat slate tiles which add to the unique ambiance of this popular bar.

Two rooms blend into one through clever use of holes in the separating wall. The bar services both   rooms - the second including comfortable lounges while chunky wooden tables inside and out add warmth.

A casual after work meeting place or
simply a spot to enjoy at any time.
